Vicki's Review of Three Capes Signature Walk

Such an achievement to make and grateful to complete it with my son, I cannot recommend this experience enough!

Just returned from the Signature Three Capes Walk where I was travelling with my adult son.

Such an awe-inspiring experience with the knowledgeable guidance of James and Joel who took the utmost care of us, sharing their fascinating stories of Turrakana Country as we travelled along, including a beautiful, personally written ode by James before a silent walk-through of the enchanting ancient forest of Mount Fortescue.

The spectacular scenery of the Tasman Peninsula is so unique and a must-see with its endemic species, wildlife, Dolorite cliffs and rugged coastlines. But the guides really brought the whole experience to another level with their passionate stories and vast knowledge.

At nineteen, Joel was the youngest but quickly became our guru for any question we had! Absolute legends and so grateful to them both.

Our lodge hosts were so welcoming and the food and wine were plentiful and delicious from the region. The Wallaby Tagine was a highlight. Fully recommend taking the option of a massage with Sara too. The best I’ve ever had! She is an expert and very empathetic. Super therapeutic after a day out on the Cape.

The accommodation was really comfortable and the facilities were brilliant for being so remote! Eco-friendly and thoughtfully designed. Highlights were the boat cruise and landing at Denmans Cove, wading in off the boat, the Blade and seeing afterwards our accomplishment, views out to Tasman Island, Fortescue Mountain Rainforest and completing the many steps of Cape Huay.
